Main Manuscript

The manuscript should present the work clearly and logically.

Introduction

Explain the background, relevant evidence, knowledge gap, and purpose of the work.

Methods

Provide sufficient information about the study design, participants or materials, procedures, outcomes, statistical methods, ethical approval, and other relevant procedures.

Results

Present findings clearly and in a logical order. Avoid unnecessary duplication between the text, tables, and figures.

Discussion

Interpret the findings in relation to existing evidence and address important strengths, limitations, implications, and alternative explanations.

Conclusion

Provide a concise conclusion supported by the findings. Avoid claims that extend beyond the evidence.

Tables, Figures, and References

Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively and cited in the text.

Tables should be editable and include clear titles, headings, and explanatory notes where necessary.

Figures should be clear and suitable for publication. TIFF or JPEG formats are recommended, with approximately 300 dpi for publication-quality images.

The journal uses a Vancouver-style numbered reference system. References should appear in the order of first citation and should be checked carefully for accuracy and completeness.

Research involving human participants, animals, patient data, or biological materials must comply with applicable ethical requirements.

Where applicable, authors should provide ethics committee or institutional review board information, approval numbers, informed-consent statements, and clinical trial registration details.

Funding sources and relevant financial or professional relationships must be disclosed.

Where there are no competing interests or specific funding, authors should provide an appropriate declaration.

Authors should provide a data availability statement where applicable.

Authors are encouraged to follow recognized reporting guidelines appropriate to their study design, including relevant standards for clinical trials, systematic reviews, observational studies, diagnostic research, and case reports.

Artificial Intelligence

Use of AI-assisted technologies during manuscript preparation should be disclosed at submission, including the tool used and its role.

AI tools must not be listed as authors. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, references, confidentiality, and integrity of the submitted manuscript.

Editorial Review and Revision

Manuscripts may undergo an initial editorial assessment before external peer review. Suitability, scientific quality, ethical compliance, completeness, and relevance to the journal may be considered.

When revisions are requested, authors should provide a revised manuscript together with a clear response to reviewer comments.

Proofs

After acceptance and production, the corresponding author will receive an electronic proof. Authors should review the proof carefully and return essential corrections within 2 working days, unless otherwise advised.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

There is no submission or peer-review fee.

For accepted manuscripts, an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 2400–3400 may apply. The APC supports editorial administration, peer-review coordination, production, online publication, and digital preservation.

APC considerations do not influence editorial or peer-review decisions.

Waivers and Withdrawal

Authors experiencing financial difficulties may contact the Editorial Office to enquire about available APC reductions or waivers. Requests are considered separately from editorial decisions.

Authors may request withdrawal before peer review begins without a withdrawal charge. Withdrawal after peer review has commenced may be subject to applicable administrative charges.
